Opening the north –> south energy channel down the front line of the body is key to releasing stuck energy in the head. Stress, trauma, and environmental factors all contribute to clogging our energetic pipes. Purifying and strengthening the front line channel helps stagnant energies in the head to flow.
One of the ways to open and strengthen the front line meridian is through intention. You can place your gentle focus on the major meridian points, one by one, moving from north to south.
To do this, sit or stand straight with spine erect. Breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth. Take a breath in, and on the exhale focus on the major energy centers of the front line of the body.
Place a light focus on the following chakras, one at a time, in this order:
Third Eye
Throat
Heart
Solar Plexus (two inches above belly button)
Sacral (two inches below belly button)
Pelvic Floor
Repeat this process for about three minutes.
It’s important to not force energy to move. You want to be light and easy about it, with the same kind of focus you use to walk to your refrigerator and take a loaf of bread out.
You may feel energy running in the opposite direction as you do this exercise. Let it be and don’t push against it. As you continue to do this exercise, your front line meridian will open and strengthen. And as it does, the energy pressure in your head will be able to move and release.
