Energy pressure in the head can be healed through a multi-faceted approach. This approach includes grounding, releasing trapped energies in the etheric body, learning to release energies that accumulate during the day, and strengthening certain meridians.
Today we discuss a simple technique to strengthen the energy meridian that runs north to south down the front of the body. A strong and clear front central meridian helps you feel grounded, empowered, and clear minded. This meridian can clog and shrink due to stress, trauma, and repressed emotions. If this channel is clogged and tight energy can accumulate in the head, as it is has no place to flow.
If you find energy pressure building up in a certain area of your head (and you have been medically cleared), the exercise below might be helpful. This exercise tends to work best if the energy knot is somewhat centrally located rather than on one of the sides of the head. Now for the exercise. Press the tip of your tongue to the center of the roof of your mouth. Place two fingers of one hand in the area where the pressure has built up. Next, place two fingers of your other hand on your solar plexus (the solar plexus is ~2 inches above the belly button). Apply firm pressure with both sets of fingers. Choose a one word intention for moving the blockage, something like open, flow, move, or release. Close your eyes and envision a sink faucet. In your mind’s eye, turn the spigot on at full blast and imagine water rushing out.
You may start to feel a tingling in your forehead area as the energy starts to move. This energy will eventually move down your body to the solar plexus and pelvic floor. Then, it will go back up the spine to the head. It is good to keep the picture here in mind as you practice this exercise. This is what you are working towards.
