So many people talk about grounding. Just about everyone on a spiritual path has heard how important it is. But, for some reason, finding information on how to ground is not easy.
I spent time in nature, walked barefoot outside, ate grounding foods and exercised. These activities help. But after my kundalini awakening, I felt a strange energy pressure in my head that would not go away. I felt an urgency to do something about this, and my intuition told me to GROUND. Unsure how, I said a prayer asking for guidance. In the most uncanny way, I met a mystic who showed me.
According to the mystic, my upper chakras were very open, while my lower chakras were not. Said in another way – I had done a lot of spiritual work, and now needed to ground the energy into physical reality.
The mystic recommended a meditation exercise to balance my chakras and reconnect myself with the Earth energies. The first time I did this exercise, the energy headache intensified. I could do the exercise but couldn’t feel the connection. I consulted with the mystic. He told me to proceed for another two weeks and to do my best without expectation. In a couple of weeks I had a breakthrough. The energy headaches I had been having regularly completely subsided. I felt more in my body. Finally, I was becoming grounded.
