Why Is It So Hard To Give Up Meat During a Spiritual Awakening?

March 12, 2019 by Christine Leave a Comment

I felt the inner urge to give up animal products many times during my spiritual awakening. But every time I tried, I gained weight, felt worse physically, and noticed that I became very ungrounded.

I did not feel good about eating meat. I wanted to move forward.

And then I did something that helped me tremendously.

I learned how to truly ground and how to raise the vibration of my body.

I began practicing the best grounding meditation. Doing this daily helped me to connect to the Earth energies.

I also did a Taoist practice called the Inner Smile. Doing this daily raised my body vibration.

As I did these exercises, lower vibration emotions, thoughts and beliefs came up for processing. But I was very capable of handling what came up.

Then I gave up animal products again. I started with meat and continued to consume dairy.

This time I immediately felt better and lighter. I realized that previous times when I had given up meat, I was consuming low energy foods, without the meat. This time, I was able to gravitate towards high vibration foods such as fruits and vegetables. I lost weight and felt lighter and cleaner.

More importantly, I was able to feel grounded without using dense foods.

Release low level emotions, connect to the loving stabilizing forces of Earth and Sun. This was my prescription for following my soul’s urge to give up animal products.
