Hi Friends. How are you doing?
Recently, I’ve been meeting more people who have stubborn, persistent energy head pressure. Head pressure that lasts for years, that can be quite intense at times.
Today I want to share my ultimate healing tool for energy head pressure. As you may know from my other posts, I had head pressure for years – spanning almost a decade – after my intense kundalini experience. QiGong, belief work, and grounding were essential tools in my healing process. With these modalities, I felt better and better. But never fully healed of the head pressure.
Then I stumbled upon someone with a similar story. He too, had intense head pressure, that started after a kundalini event, and lasted for many years. He was able to heal it completely using a specific type of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
Then I met others who had also healed head pressure using this specific type of TCM.
So, I tried it myself, and I can say with full confidence that this specific type of TCM was the final key to relief from my head pressure. For me, it was the lasting, complete relief I was seeking for a long time.
And today I want to share with you what this specific type of TCM is, and how to find a provider in your area.
When people come to me for help with spiritual awakening related head pressure, I usually recommend starting with simple, DIY techniques that you could do by yourself, at home. For some people, this is all the help they need.
But what if those rushes of energy to the head still persist? What if it goes on for longer periods of time?
I recommend doing something about it. Energy is not meant to pool in the head. And if it does, over time it can lead to health issues such as high blood pressure.
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a broad description for Taoist healing modalities. Generally speaking it is a system of healing for the meridian systems. The meridian systems are energy channels that carry life force energy throughout our body. Specialized techniques are used to measure the health of a person’s energy channels.
I’ve written here about an experience with a shaman who could see energies. He told me that my energy channels ran south to north, but not north to south. I knew intuitively he was right. I had a healing with this shaman, and felt grounded and wonderful, but the experience soon faded. I needed something more.
For some people who have energy pressure in the head, their grounding and purging meridian is clogged. This can happen due to toxins, trauma, spending time in low-frequency environments, or even an energetic predisposition. When this grounding channel is clogged, it runs up towards the head instead of down towards the earth. And if you begin to do spiritual work and more energy runs up your spine, you can have an overload of energy in your head that can be quite uncomfortable. Energy is not meant to pool in the head. Left untreated it can cause problems in the body.
Though acupuncture is considered a part of TCM, I do not recommend acupuncture for healing energy head pressure. I tried it myself and felt terrible afterwards. And, I have interviewed and worked with many people who tried acupuncture for their head pressure challenges. Many times people end up feeling worse. I think that generally speaking acupuncture is a wonderful healing modality. But I have not experienced it as a treatment for energy head pressure.
The type of TCM practitioner that worked for me and others I know is called a pulse reader. These healers create herbal remedies. Usually a packet of herbs that you boil into a tea and sip on in the morning and or evening.
I found a TCM pulse reader by doing an internet search of Traditional Chinese Medicine + pulse reader + the area I live in. Thankfully I live within driving distance of a metro area with a large Chinatown.
The healer I went to has his own herbal pharmacy. During consultations he measures my blood pressure, looks at my tongue and my pupils. We talk about body symptoms.
He evaluates my pulse on both wrists, in three different places.
Using the information he gathers from tongue, pupil, and pulse he writes a prescription for an herbal treatment.
If you do an internet search and have some options for TCM pulse readers in your area, I would call them and ask the following questions.
Do you offer pulse reading?
Do you have your own herbs, or do you use pre-packaged herbs? All the people I know who have had good experiences with this type of TCM treatment went to providers who have their own herbs.
If they do acupuncture as well I would ask the provider if he/she feels comfortable treating you with herbs only.
Check reviews. I went to a practitioner who others have called a “miracle worker,” “true healer,” and “a life saver” in reviews. I feel pretty lucky to have found him.
My first visit lasted about an hour. Subsequent visits are 15-30 minutes. After the consultation I wait for the herbal concoction to be made and packaged into daily doses. This takes about 40 minutes. In total, my visits take about 2 hours each time.
After the first visit I came back after two weeks for a check-in. After that my visits were once a month. So its very feasible to travel to a good TCM pulse reader.
Within the first month I felt an improvement. I experienced less intense head pressure and it came on less frequently. My sleep improved. My mood improved. All the mental / emotional processing I was doing, that can be part of a spiritual awakening process, became so much easier. I guess you can say that this herbal treatment was helpful in every aspect of my spiritual awakening. As many of you know, when awakening is intense, it can be challenging on the body.
Every month I felt better and better. After about three months I had improvement in my biomarkers. For example, after having head pressure for years, my blood pressure was borderline high. Within three months it was on the low end of normal. And I was only having head pressure issues during the full moon.
In one of my blog posts I discuss tracking head pressure. Does it increase or decrease around certain people, places, or activities that you do? Another thing to track is the full moon, new moon, and the first day of menstrual cycle if you’re menstruating.
It’s pretty amazing to speak with a medical pressure and say something like, “I had a flare up during the full moon,” and have that completely validated.
Eventually everything stabilized. I kept going for a while longer. My body received so much energetic support. I was able to detox all of my major organs.
People have asked me how much detail I went into with my TCM practitioner. I chose not to get into all the details of kundalini. I simply described my symptoms – head pressure, trouble sleeping, etc. Though, over time I opened up more. It turns out my TCM practitioner is also into metaphysics and I was able to talk to him more about this.
I want to share with you what the herbs look like. The formulations are always changing depending on my body energy. It’s usually natural materials – mushrooms, ginger, tofu, different seeds. I specified no animal products, as I didn’t want any of these in my formulations. It sounded like they wouldn’t be used anyway.
I have always done really well with plant medicine and herbs so it was wonderful to see these natural elements in my herbal formulation. I also have a sensitive energetic system – many people who do healing work do. , This system of healing is really conducive to sensitive systems. The changes are subtle, but they build upon one another. It does take time, and it’s not an overnight fix, but that’s great for people with sensitive bodies.
What do you do with the herbal formulations once you get home? I take these packets and put them in a non-reactive (glass) pot with water, boil them, strain them and drink the mixture as a tea. The smell, in my opinion, is not pleasant. The tea tastes very bitter. It did take some getting used to. But, for me, it was all worth it.
I hope this is helpful. Until next time, I send you so many good wishes.

Hi, thanks for this information. The TCM offered in my country is with no “herbs offerings”, do you have any suggestions for options?
Also, do you still offer guidance for head pressure?
🙂

Hi! I sent you an email. Yes, there are other ways to help with the energy head pressure if you don’t have Chinese herbs availability!

Hi Christine, I am also curious of these other, non-herbal ways! The closest herb-based person appears to be 2 hours away for me.

You’re doing the lords work with these blogs. Thank you. Are you still able to practice energy work without getting increase in head pressure?
Christine says
Hi! I did take a break for a while from the energy work and also spiritual work. I focused purely on raising body vibration. Once I balanced out, I could do the energy work and my own spiritual work again! Thank you so much for your kind comment.
