Most of the people I work with are in the midst of a healing crisis. Their story usually goes something like this: I got into meditation and spirituality to relieve anxiety / depression. I started to feel better, but then some deep traumas unlocked. Now I feel worse than ever. During this stage of negative ego purification, many people can feel the density of the deeply embedded beliefs in their energy system. When we make big changes in our belief systems, the energy carrying meridian systems need to change too. It can be uncomfortable but it is quite natural. Over the years, I have collected and developed resources to make this transition period easier for others.
It’s during this ego purification process that many people begin to feel stuck energy in their bodies. Sometimes that energetic block manifests as energy pressure in the head, a topic I have written about a lot on this blog. I have found that many of my clients are highly motivated to heal during this stage – because it is a part of their destiny to experience shifts in consciousness, and because the energetic blocks and associated negative thoughts and feelings are so uncomfortable.
Once people start to feel the effects of healing they commit wholeheartedly to inner alchemy. And that’s when I notice an energetic imbalance occur. People become consumed by healing, and fixing.
One of the most important things we can do as we evolve in consciousness is to balance our in and out flows. We become aware of how much we give, and how much we allow ourselves to receive. How much we create, and how much we consume. This might be seem like a trivial point, but I assure you it is the foundation of your freedom. The matrix-like world we live in conditions us to consume – to passively accept the images, stories, and thought forms that bombard us in the modern world. It is when we remember, and hone, our creative powers, that we can break out of the mass consciousness hypnosis and truly anchor and live a higher reality.
During sessions with clients, I like to remind them that they should visualize their “future” as much as they focus on healing the “past.” In truth, everything is happening in the now moment. If we become too fixated on healing, we get stuck in a loop of more to heal. And, we don’t use the leverage of our creative powers and synchronicity to aid us on our journey.
Now, one of the biggest objections I get from clients is that they are so overwhelmed with energy body pressures and negative thoughts that they can’t visualize. That is perfectly ok. Honing your creative power could be as simple as taking a couple of minutes to soothe yourself with what you want and need. It could be as simple as saying, “I want to feel better. I want my purification phase to get a little easier. I want to feel better when I wake up tomorrow.” Or, “Wouldn’t it be nice if I found a way to make this easier for me? Wouldn’t it be nice if some of this energy head pressure released?”
That was how I started when I was in the midst of my healing crisis, just praying for some grace and imagining some relief. As I improved, my ability to focus strengthened. I could not hold thoughts of fully healed yet, but I could easily vision improvement.
Things really came together for me when I remembered to use my creative powers and not focus solely on healing. The right resources came to me, synchronicities manifested, and I lived more “in the flow”, even though I was in a state of turmoil on the inside. It’s not always easy to reorganize your personality when you leap from knowing yourself as the small self to the I AM. It can be challenging to have traumas released and fly into your awareness with ferocity. But we can be in this state of purification and inner reorganization, and experience it with some ease, acceptance, trust and maybe even a little bliss.
