It happened to me on my healing journey, and I’ve seen it happen to many others.
You begin to heal, transform negative energy, raise your vibration. And you see progress. You feel better, lighter, and maybe see the creation that is your life improve.
That’s usually when it happens. The ego subtly takes over your spiritual awakening.
How do you know if this is happening to you? Here are some telltale signs:
Your awakening process is no longer enjoyable, a curiosity or expansion. It seems like a chore.
You are constantly in “fix-it” mode – I need to heal this, fix this, improve this. Everything is seen through the lens of healing.
Your thoughts are consumed with what needs to heal.
You feel stuck and like you are making no progress.
What’s the solution? The best way is to get out of thought and into feeling. I have a collection of activities and memories that get me connected to my Soul. Things like: my favorite funny movies, the lighthearted ones that make me smile and laugh. High vibration music, the kind that fills my skin with goosebumps. Riding a horse, and experiencing the unity between man and animal.
Usually these activities bring me into alignment. And then the next thing I need on my journey just shows up, with ease, and I can expand in a joyful way.
When coaching others through this stage, I also recommend setting limits with meditation and healing. Do your daily meditation, weekly healing, and after that – live your life.
This is how we find the sweet spot in the expansion of consciousness. After all, LIFE is our greatest teacher.
